Lynda has been committed to volunteerism in the City of Burbank for more than 43 years. Her passion for the arts blossomed during extensive ballet training in Western New York where she grew up.
She is currently a Commissioner on the Burbank Cultural Arts Commission (was Chair for 2 years) and a former Board Member of the Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre, Chair of the Board of the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra (its President for 9+ years), member of the Burbank Chorale and was a nominee for Zonta Club’s annual “Woman of the Year” recognition. She received the “Educational Advancement Award” for her commitment to education volunteerism in the community.
Lynda is a graduate of Ohio University's School of Fashion Design and UCLA’s Human Resources Management Program and is a former member of the President's Executive Council at Woodbury University. She recently retired from The Capital Group Companies, Inc. as a Vice President in Human Resources, having been an associate at that company for 31 years. She is an advocate for both performing and visual arts to ensure their sustainability for enthusiasts of all ages and economic levels both now and for the future.
Lynda has been married for 36 years and has two daughters and two grandchildren.
